Conor Youtsey's wrestling career appeared to be over. The two-time All-American for Michigan had a year of eligibility remaining, but after his 2015-16 campaign, decided he was ready to move on.

However, with Michigan in a pinch and their 125 situation marred with injuries, Coach McFarland will be looking to Youtsey to man the 125 spot for just a few more months.. The past two years, Youtsey has had up and down regular seasons, winding up unseeded the last two years at NCAA's.  In spite of that less than advantageous starting position, Youtsey managed to place each of the last two seasons. In 2016 he placed 5th, and in 2016 he placed 6th at NCAA's.

Youtsey made his 2017 debut today with his pin over Northwestern's Anthony Rubinetti.

Youtsey will be a top 10 guy when he enters the FloRankings this Tuesday.
