Penn State & Cael Sanderson Reach Long-Term Deal
Cael Sanderson and Penn State reach "long-term" deal.
Penn State Athletic Director Sandy Barbour announced Tuesday at Big Ten media days in Chicago that Penn State and head coach Cael Sanderson have reached a "long-term deal."

"What Cael and our wrestling program has done is absolutely spectacular, but there was never an issue," Barbour said at Big Ten media days. "It was never a concern. It was a matter of getting to the right place."
No details have been provided at this time about the length of the contract or Sanderson's new salary, but one of the offseason's biggest dramas is now in the books. The Nittany Lions of course return five NCAA champions and have won six of the last seven NCAA Championships.
