NCAA qualifier Victor Voinovich, who entered the transfer portal last month after his freshman season at Oklahoma State, announced Monday that he’s headed to Iowa.
Voinovich compiled a 17-13 record for the Cowboys at 149 pounds and went 2-2 at the NCAA Championships. He could be in line to take over at 149 for outgoing All-American Max Murin, who defeated Voinovich 4-3 when the Hawkeyes and Cowboys collided in a February dual.
Prior to his arrival at Oklahoma State, Voinovich was a two-time Ohio state high school champion who went 148-16 as a prep and also notched a pair of wins at Who’s #1.
