WEST DE PERE HIGH SCHOOL
Date and Time Schedule:
Saturday, February 11, 2006 in West De Pere High School’s field house
9:00 a.m. – Weigh-in conducted in the West De Pere boy’s varsity locker room
9:30 a.m. – Coaches’ meeting in high school auditorium
10:30 a.m. – First session
Entries include wrestlers from the following schools:
Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Little Chute, Oshkosh Lourdes/St. Mary Central, West
De Pere, Weyauwega-Fremont, Winneconne
Tournament seeding will be done according to the WIAA Winter Handbook. Do not call West De Pere High School for the seeding information.

Teams must supply your own medical supplies for pre-match requirements. All trainers
must report to Jon Weiss upon their arrival to exchange information and coverage of
athletes.
Meet Manager:
Greg Smith, Activities Director, 920-338-5214 (school), 920-339-2334 (home) in case of
emergency, and Dave Bernarde, wrestling coach, 920-217-7120 (cell).
WIAA Ticket Policies:
Prices: All sessions – Children/Students/Adults - $7.00
All Finals sessions – Children/Students/Adults - $3.00
Clearing the field house between sessions will not be necessary: Patrons arriving before or during the first session will be charged the all-sessions ticket price. Patrons arriving during the final session will be charged the ticket price for the finals.
Free admissions for participating schools will include tournament passes for the list below. Everyone else pays, including non-participating coaches, bus drivers, relatives, etc. Refer to pages 59-60 in the Winter Handbook. Pick up your packet when you arrive at the field house entrance.
o Head coach and assistant coach
o Wrestlers actually competing
o Six cheerleaders
o One manager
o Two admissions without charge for use by school personnel as you designate
Scoring and Awards:
There is a team score kept for the Regional. Medals will be awarded in each weight class and
presented on a delayed basis during the championship round.

All information is available on trackwrestling.com. Please contact this site and check for errors
in spelling, etc. Fax corrections to Greg Smith, Activities Director at West De Pere High

Parking and Entrance:
West De Pere High School is located at 665 Grant Street, De Pere.
Coaches must pick up their packet of materials upon arrival at the main entry.
Locker rooms are off the main entry and will be assigned for each school’s use as follows:
o Boys’ PE locker room: Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Little Chute
o Girls’ PE locker room: Oshkosh Lourdes/St. Mary’s Central, Weyauwega-Fremont, Winneconne
Weigh-in will be in the West De Pere boys’ team locker room.
The coaches’ meeting will be held in the auditorium just off the commons at 9:30 a.m.
Weigh-in Procedures:
Report to the boys’ team locker room by 9:00 a.m.
Wrestlers may not leave the weigh-in area for any reason once weigh-ins begin.
We will begin weigh-ins on two scales, beginning with the 103# and 112# weight classes.
Wrestlers may challenge the second scale if needed.
If a wrestler must use the restroom, he must use the restroom in the locker room.
Once a weight class has completed weigh-ins, a school/individual may not go back and weigh in.
Locker rooms will be assigned upon arrival.
Secure your own valuables.
Furnish your own towels.
There are no locker rooms for cheerleaders; come in uniform.
Concessions:
A variety of food selections will be sold from the concession stand throughout the day at reasonable prices.
Absolutely NO CARRY-INS in the field house! Water (only) is allowed in the field house. Please ask your wrestlers to eat and drink in the commons area.
Video Equipment:
Fans will be allowed to videotape or take pictures from the bleachers with no tripods.
Teams will be allowed to video their matches from a chair adjacent to the two coaches’ chairs with proper tags.
Conduct:
Conduct of coaches, spectators and participants is covered in the WIAA Handbook. Please review conduct policies. Restrictions regarding noisemakers, radios, tape decks, banners, etc. will be followed. Only two authorized personnel with an attached ticket may be inside the restricted mat area with the exception of a third person serving as a coach or video or camera person. No wrestler may occupy this seat. Cheerleaders will be allowed within the roped off area next to the mat when their team is competing.
