Thunder Classic 2012 Saturday Dec. 15th, 2012 Westlake High School - 99 North 200 West Saratoga Springs, Utah County Ages: Pre Kindergarten - 9th Grade Brackets: Four Man Round Robin Folk-Style Tournament. Each wrestler will be put into groups of four according to grade and weight. They do not have to make a specific weigh but they do have to weigh in with their coach and pre-register to be entered in the tournament. Awards: Everyone who participates will get a customized wrist band! All champions will receive a ?Champion? wrist band. We will also give out second, third, and fourth place wristband. We will also be giving out `Outstanding Wrestler` Thor hammers for the Club Coach to give to the wrestler of his choice. There must at least 10 participants in the tournament from one club to qualify. Registration: Pre-Registration only through Trackwrestling.com. No same day registration. Cost: $12.00 for each participant. You must prepay with a credit/debit card online at TrackWrestling.com. Search ?Thunder Classic 2012?. Sanctioned Event: This is a USA Wrestling sanctioned event. You must have a USA Wrestling National Card or a Utah Folkstyle Athlete Membership. Go to usawmembership.com to purchase either one. Weigh-Ins: Each wrestler will weigh in at their own club using the honor system or your home scale, if someone challenges your weight you must be within two pounds or you will be disqualified. Club coaches will have until 4:00 pm on Friday to enter the weights onto the Trackwrestling.com website. Coaches who are conducting weigh-ins need to email Cody Burdett (cburdett@alpinedistrict.org) to receive the log-in information to enter weights. Deadlines: Pre-registration closes at 12:00pm on Friday, December 14th. Weigh-in submissions end at 4:00pm on Friday, December 14th. No late registration or weigh-ins on Saturday, December 15th. Directions: A quick 10 minute drive from I-15. Take exit 278 in American Fork then go west onto Pioneer Crossing. Turn left at Redwood Road and right at Pony Express Parkway. The school will be on the right.
