6th Annual Shawnee Mission Middle School Wrestling Duals

The order of duals: (second team is the home team)

3 HG vs IW IH vs WR Trailridge
4 HG vs WR IW vs TR Indian Hills
5 TR vs IH WR vs IW Hocker Grove
Scoring: Team with the highest dual record wins. If there is a tie, the head to head match will decide the winner. If there is a three-way tie, total team points will determine the final outcome. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the overall first place team at the end of the meet.
Medals: Prior to the start of the tournament, coaches must declare which weight class in which a wrestler will be eligible to medal. Wrestlers may only medal in one weight class. First and second place medals will be awarded to the winners of each weight class. The medals will be presented at the end of the meet.
Dual Lineups: All dual line ups must be declared and turned in to the scorer table prior to the start of the round. No changes may be made after the dual line up is submitted.
Roster: Rosters are due by 3pm on Thursday, November 7th on Track Wrestling or it will lock you out. Please remember to include all wrestlers that may participate in the event. Rosters will also be emailed to Leah Cogswell: leahcogswell@smsd.org.
Hospitality: We will not have a dinner break, but a hospitality room with food for coaches, administrators, and officials will be provided.
Weigh-in: Weigh wrestlers in Thursday afternoon after practice. Email forms to Leah Cogswell and bring forms to SMNW day of duals for the competition.
Weight classes: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 127, 134, 141, 148, 155, 165, 180, 215, 265.
Matches: Will consist of 3 periods 1st period 1.00, 2nd period 1.30, 3rd period 1.30
Concessions: A concession stand will be provided.
Warm up time starts at 1:15 p.m.
