Glasgow Wrestling Club Civic Center Mini-Tournament PLANS Why: To bring much needed competition events to Eastern Montana wrestlers & clubs. We are taking it upon ourselves to utilize the facility we have, develop a solid plan and host a safe and fun event for everyone. Where: Glasgow Civic Center Gymnasium - 319 3rd St S, Glasgow, MT 59230 When: Sunday, January 31st. Session I (TOT & BANTAM)- 9:30-11:30 / Session II (MIDGET-CADET) - 12:30-conclusion. These times are approximate; however, Session II will NOT start earlier than 12:30. Please declare scratches AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. Cost: $5 gate for all adults. $5 registration fee for all wrestlers. Registration: Track Wrestling will be used. A worker username and password will be distributed to teams contact. Please register kids ASAP to help with planning, bracketing or inviting more teams depending on attendance. Registration deadline is WEDNESDAY, 1/27 @ 10:00 P.M. MST. Bracketing: Tots-Bantam will be round-robin bracketed with a goal of getting 3-4 matches. Midget and up will be paired based on skill level and opposing towns. Our goal is to get EVERY child 3-4 matches against kids from opposing towns. Times (tentative based on #?s in each age group & participants): Tots-Bantam will start at 9:30 A.M.-11:30 A.M. MST. Midget-Cadet will start at 12:30 P.M. MST through conclusion of event. This will allow the gym to clear out for the next crew, clean mats etc. Awards: Metals & ribbons will be awarded to all participants. Requests for your club: A plan will be submitted to Valley County Health Dept. and will be approved. Limit gym capacity by 50%. We request: 1.) Only parents accompany wrestlers. 2.) If possible, leave non-wrestling siblings? home. 3.) Provide workers for 1 table 4.) Provide minimum 1 referee Concession: We will offer a full concessions area. Coaches: We will limit the number of coaches mat side, dependent on the number of rostered kids at event. 2 coaches MAX per corner.
