`` Unity Invitational Date: Saturday, December 18, 2021 Teams: Beardstown, Benton, Bishop Mac, Carterville, Centralia, Charleston, Elmhurst IC, Hoopeston Area, Lanphier, Olympia, Peotone, Rochester, St. Joe-Ogden, Unity, Urbana. Officials: Bill Billman, Jim Moxley, Chris Soppet & Roy Acree o Entry Fee: $175 per team. Please make check payable Tolono Unity High School 1127 County Rd 800 N Tolono, Il 61880. Please send entry fee in as soon as possible. o Entrance: All teams and spectators must enter the entrance on the South West side of the Rocket Center. This will be the ONLY entrance. o Weigh ? in: Weigh-ins will be at 7:30 am in the Rocket Center. The first round will begin at 9:00 am. The tournament will be run straight through. o Weight Certification Forms: Coaches must turn in your weight certification forms. o Brackets: We will use a 16 man bracket for all weight classes. If a wrestler loses in round one or two they will wrestle back to 5th place. If a wrestler loses in the semi finals they will wrestle for 3rd place. We will seed brackets prior to weigh ins. o Admission: $5.00 Adults $3.00 Students ALL DAY Admission. o Awards: The tournament will award a team trophy to the first, second, third and 4th place schools in the meet. Individual awards will be given to top 6 in each weight class. There will be awards for quickest pin and MVP. o Tournament Scoring: We will use the IHSA scoring system for scoring the tournament. o Rosters: All rosters will be submitted through Track Wrestling. Each school should have received an email for entering your wrestlers. Roster deadline is 10PM on December 14th. o Trainer: We will have trainers present and available during all wrestling times. o Concessions: Concessions will be provided by the Unity Wrestling Booster club.
