Temirov is a Greco-Roman competitor from Uzbekistan who earned a bronze medal in the 2018 World Championships and competed in the 2012 Olympic Games. He claimed his World Championships medal at 63 kg, but for the Olympics he had represented Uzbekistan down at 60 kg.
