2022-23 NCAA DI Rankings
184 - Aaron Brooks
184 saw some big upsets on Monday and Tuesday! First, Trey Munoz defeated Marcus Coleman. Then, Parker Keckeisen avenged his loss from the CKLV finals by pinning Trent Hidlay. And finally, Marcus Coleman defeated 2-time national champion Aaron Brooks!
Even with all the chaos, Aaron Brooks stays in the top spot because of his 2 head-to-head wins over both Trent Hidlay and Parker Keckeisen. Aaron Brooks has proven himself as the top 184-pound wrestler in the country and 1 loss does not result in him dropping in the rankings.
Keckeisen moves above Hidlay because of the recent win and because he holds the series lead over Hidlay at 2-1.
Despite the loss to Munoz, Coleman moves above Romero because of a win over the #1 ranked wrestler in the country and two-time defending champion.
And Munoz moves ahead of Assad but stays behind Bolen and Romero because a loss on the season to #16 Lenny Pinto.
