Ali Naser Transfers to Arizona State
Ali Naser will continue his wrestling career with the Arizona Sun Devils. Naser is transferring from Fresno City College, which is affiliated with the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA). Before attending Fresno City College, Naser was a California State place winner finishing 4th. He also took 5th place at Fargo freestyle in 2013, along with past greco all american finishes at Fargo.

This summer on the freestyle circuit, Ali Naser has made a name for himself. Most notably Naser defeated 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Coleman Scott in the second round of the US Open. Naser is coming off a 5th place finish at the University Nationals where he defeated Missouri and Rutgers starters Zach Synon, and Scott Delvecchio, as well as Campbell's Nathan Kraisser seen above.

We reached out to Naser about his decision:

"I am very excited and grateful to be continuing my education at ASU. ASU was my first choice because of the school's location, great coaches and teammates I know very well. This combination will help me stay close to my family and give me the tools to accomplish my goals at the next level."

Naser will slot in nicely for the Sun Devils at 133lb. With the #1 recruiting class already Arizona State will only add to their talent they are expecting for 2015-2016 season.
