Ohio State Releases 2016-17 Wrestling Schedule
2016-17 Ohio State Wrestling Schedule
Last week, we were able to confirm some major lineup changes for Ohio State. Two NCAA Champions: Nathan Tomasello and Myles Martin along with two-time All American are all changing weights.
The schedule for the returning NCAA runner-ups has also been released. It features a challenging dual slate with a few very challenging tournaments as well.
In the first semester, the Buckeyes will have two very competitive tournaments, the Journeymen Collegiate Classic as well as Cliff Keen Las Vegas. Additionally, they'll have to travel to the young and hungry ASU squad and host Missouri.
The 2nd semester is all duals for the Buckeyes until post-season time. There are no easy weekends in the Big 10, and that's especially true for Ohio State this year who will take on Iowa, Penn State, Nebraska, Rutgers, Minnesota and Illinois. As good as Ohio State will be, you have to figure they'll end up with a challenging opponent for the NWCA Dual Championship series as well.
