Semifinals Results
The semifinal round at Midlands lived up to the hype. Wisconsin Whitewater's Jaritt Shinhoster continued his impressive run by stopping madman freshmen Brian Soldano. After upsetting Cohlton Schultz yesterday, Dayton Pitzer continued to electrify with a last second defensive fall while losing to Trent Hillger. Take a look at the entire list of results below.
Wisconsin and Penn are neck and neck in the team race. Wisconsin will have the edge going into the finals with four wrestlers competing to Penn's two. One of Wisconsin's wrestlers, DJ Hamiti, will be in the marquee finals match at 165 lbs against Princeton's Quincy Monday who is competing up at 165 lbs. Northwestern and Pitt are also right there in the hunt with finalists.

It was also great to see some hammers for the first time this year such as Killian Cardinale and Brandon Courtney. Action gets back underway at 8 pm Eastern with the quarterfinals.
