Predicting Each Conference's All-Americans Based On Rankings
Predicting Each Conference's All-Americans Based On Rankings
Take a look at how the conferences stack up against each other in the latest set of D1 rankings.
The postseason is really here. We're less than two weeks away from conference tournament weekend and a month from NCAAs weekend! With the last set of rankings from the regular season, I wanted to take a look and see if the last set of rankings predicted the podium, how many AAs would each conference have, and who would they be?
You can find the complete rankings HERE.
All-Americans By Conference Based On Regular Season Rankings
Big 10 - 31
Big 12 - 18
ACC - 13
EIWA - 9
Pac 12 - 7
SoCon - 1
MAC - 1
It should come as no surprise to see the Big 10 atop this hypothetical rankings. While 31 might seem like a good amount, it would actually be down from last year.
2022 Actual All-Americans By Conference
Big Ten –39
Pac-12 –13
ACC –10
Big 12 –10
EIWA –7
SoCon - 1
The Big 12 is up big from last year while the Big 10 and Pac 12 dropped.

To see complete NCAA team score predictions, you can just look at the team tab on the rankings page HERE as those rankings are based on NCAA team point scoring. Also, check out this lovely chart my colleague Andrew Spey made.
