The transfer portal continues to be the biggest talk of the offseason. However, the first head coach movement of the year rivaled the portal talk last week. After seven years in Norman, Lou Rossselli resigned as the head coach of Oklahoma. It is still unknown at this time who will be taking over the position and what Rosselli's next move will be.
Two All-Americans from Northwestern, Michael DeAugustino and Lucas Davison entered the portal. It didn't take long for Davison to announce his next school - Michigan. With one year of eligibility remaining, he will take over where 2023 Hodge Trophy Award winner Mason Parris left off. Another big man, Yaraslau Slavikouski announced he will spend his final year at Rutgers. Arguably the biggest name to go in the portal last week was Aaron Nagao. The 2023 5th place finisher still has three years of eligibility remaining.
It's not all about the portal. Ohio State picked up a massive commitment from Ben Davino last Monday. The Illinois native won Fargo, Super 32, Ironman, and Who's #1 last season.
NDSU picked up a nice commitment from #86 on the 2024 Big Board and potential 4X Iowa high school state champion Max Magayna.
