Final X Wrestling 2023, the next stop on the road to the Olympics, in June 9. The event will feature several stars, including WWE Superstar Gable Steveson.
The U.S. Open Wrestling Championship is over and the next step on the road to the Olympic Games in Paris for wrestlers leads to Final X.
The annual event began in 2018 and before that was simply known as the U.S. World Team Trials.
Wrestlers who win at Final X Wrestling will represent the U.S. at the 2023 Senior World Championships

How Does The Final X Wrestling Tournament Work?
Final X will determine the 2023 U.S. Senior World Teams in all three Olympic disciplines: men’s and women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman.
There will be 30 weight classes contested, 10 in each Olympic discipline. The top two U.S. athletes in each weight class will compete in a best-of-three series in Final X to determine who will wrestle at the 2023 Senior World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.

When is Final X Wrestling 2023?
Final X is June 9-10. Match times and a schedule have not been announced.

The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey is hosting Final X Wrestling 2023.
Is Gable Steveson Wrestling At Final X?
Yes. Steveson returned to the mat at the U.S. Open and won the 125 kg weight class. Steveson does not know his opponent at Final X as the U.S. did not have a medalist 2022 Senior Worlds.
