#4 Koy Hopke Commits To Minnesota
The top available big man is no longer available.
The #4 overall recruit in the class of 2024 and #2 heavyweight in the country is off of the board. Koy Hopke announced his commitment to the University of Minnesota early Monday morning via Instagram.
When FloWrestling talked with Hopke back in April, he mentioned he had narrowed down his options to four schools, but was not ready to release those to the public.
A 2022 U17 World champion, Hopke is expected to continue a long history of heavyweight success at Minnesota. Other heavyweights currently on Minnesota's roster include Bennett Tabor, Garrett Joles, and Gavin Nelson.
Hopke is expected to compete at the U20 World Team Trials in June.
