That’s not done yet! Welcome back to Lincoln, James Green. @WhoIsJamesG pic.twitter.com/S9LJ0J6RSU
Four years as a Husker and five as an NWTC athlete, Green spent nearly a decade in Lincoln, Nebraska training for NCAA and World titles. As a Husker, Green became just the second four-time All-American in school history placing 7th, 7th, 3rd, and 3rd. Green then held down the 70 kg World Team spot from 2015-2021 winning a bronze medal in 2015 and a silver medal in 2017. Green spent the last year and a half of his competitive career with the Southeast RTC in Blacksburg, VA.
It is currently unknown when Green will compete or at what weight. A true 70 kg wrestler, Green notoriously struggled to make the cut to 65 kg during Olympic years.
