Top-10 Prospect Dillan Johnson Flips From Northwestern To Wisconsin
Joliet Catholic rising senior Dillan Johnson has committed to Wisconsin for both football and wrestling.
Dillan Johnson, currently the #10 overall 2024 recruit in the country, has flipped his commitment from Northwestern to Wisconsin. Johnson announced his new commitment via Twitter with a graphic and text that suggests he still intends to play football and wrestle in Madison.

The flip comes one day after Northwestern fired their head football coach amid a hazing scandal.
Johnson is currently ranked #4 in the country at heavyweight and is a three-star football recruit with multiple power-five offers. In the last year, he won an Ironman title and finished as a Fargo runner-up. Johnson's brother Eric was drafted by the Colts in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft to play Defensive Tackle.

Johnson is Wisconsin's second Big Board recruit in the class of 2024. Even though he's committed to the Badgers as a two-sport athlete, the question of whether he'll wrestle in college will be debated until Wisconsin fans see it happen. Johnson joins a growing trend of heavyweights committing to both wrestle and play D1 football. In the class of 2023, #2 Ben Kueter plans to do both at Iowa, and #11 Jim Mullen will attempt to do the same at Virginia Tech.
