50 kg - Audrey Jimenez 3-1 (silver medalist)

Between two techs, Audrey Jimenez won an incredible battle against Miruko of Sakane of Japan in the quarterfinals. Jimenez's offense and incredible pace helped her punch her ticket to the U20 World finals, but she was defeated in the gold medal match by Yanrong Li of China.

53 kg - Katie Gomez 2-2 (5th place)

After two dominant victories, Katie Gomez fell by fall against Marlia Yefremova of Ukraine in the semifinals. She'll compete for bronze tomorrow.

55 kg - Amani Jones 3-1 (bronze medalist)

After winning her first bout by tech, Amani Jones lost in the quarterfinals to Aryna Martynava, an Individual Neutral Athlete. She defeated Kurbanbaeva of Uzbekistan in repechage for a shot at Albina Rillia of Ukraine in the bronze medal match.

57 kg - Cristelle Rodriguez 0-1 (eliminated)

Rodriguez fell 8-4 in her first round contest against Volha Hardzei, an Individual Neutral Athlete. Hardzei lost the following round which eliminated Rodriguez from comepetition.

59 kg - Alexis Janiak 3-1 (bronze medalist)

Alexis Janiak cruised to the semifinals with a tech and a fall. She was in a position to win her semifinal, and even after time had expired in the match, she held a lead on criteria. A last-ditch-effort challenge by Italy's corner somehow resulted in a fleeing call that cost Janiak the match. She won a bronze medal in dominant fashion today against Elena Kurova, an Individual Neutral Athlete.

62 kg - Adaugo Nwachukwu 1-1 (eliminated)

Nwachukwo won her first bout in dominant fashion and was on pace to win in the quarterfinals until she gave up 7 straight points in the last minute of her match. She was eliminated with Jimenez of Mexico lost in the semifinals.

65 kg - Madeline Kubicki 0-1 (eliminated)

Kubicki dropped her opening bout to Kseniya Tsiarenia, an Individual Neutral Athlete. She was eliminated when Tsiarenia was defeated in the quarterfinals.

68 kg - Isabella Mir 1-2 (5th place)

Iowa freshman Isabella Mir won her first match 12-8 but fell in the quarterfinals to Hoshino of Japan. Hoshino's semifinal victory pulled Mir into repechage. She beat Jaworska of Poland to earn a bronze medal match against Shauchuk, an Individual Neutral Athlete but lost 8-1 in her medal match.

72 kg - Amit Elor 3-0 (gold medalist)

Amit Elor has been dominant in her three matches at the U20 World Championships. She looks to add another gold medal to her trophy case.
