Silvis went 1-1 in the opening session at U20 Worlds, but he was eliminated when Ahmadi, who beat him in the quarterfinals, was eliminated in the semis.

Gomi of Japan bested Black in their opening match. He was defeated in the quarterfinals which eliminated Black.

63 kg - Landon Drury 2-2 (5th place)
After a 1-1 showing in the opening Greco session at U20 Worlds, Landon Drury was pulled into repechage when his quarterfinal foe Zhantoro Mirzaliev made it to the finals. Drury won his repechage match and then was defeated in the bronze medal match.

Joel Adams lost to Jeremejev of Estonia in his opening match then was eliminated when Jeremejev was defeated the following round.

72 kg - Braden Stauffenberg 1-1 (eliminated)
After winning his opening match, Michigan State's Stauffenberg lost to Gocmen of Turkey in the round of 16. Gocmen lost in the quarterfinals which eliminated Stauffenberg.

77 kg - Derek Matthews 0-2 (eliminated)
Derek Matthews lost his opening match to Solovei of Moldova. He was pulled into repechage when Solovei made the finals but was eliminated after losing in repechage.

Altomer dropped a close 4-2 match against Ibrahim of Egypt then was eliminated when Ibrahim fell in the quarterfinals.

87 kg - Wyatt Voelker 3-2 (5th place)
After victories in his first two matches, Voelker fell to Abolfazi Choubani of Iran in the quarterfinals. Abolfazi won a 1-1 criteria match in the semifinals which pulled Voelker back in. He won a tight 3-2 contest in repechage then fell 7-0 in his bronze medal match.
