The third installment of the series introduces team captain Sammy Sasso. Sasso is a multiple time NCAA All-American and NCAA finalist who grew up in the wrestling rich Lehigh Valley. We comb through his wrestling career and accomplishments, including an epic fall in his hometown at Who's Number One.

We then pick up with the Buckeyes in their first home dual of the year against Virginia Tech before following them out west to the always competitive Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite. To say Ohio State doesn't have a strong showing in Vegas would be an understatement. Aside from having two starters out of the line up, Jesse Mendez and Paddy Gallagher, the Buckeyes struggle through the tournament getting upset at a number of weights and pulling three wrestlers from competition due to injury.

One thing does remain consistent, however, and that is Sammy Sasso. The leader of the Buckeye team strings together a number of solid victories to come out of the tournament as champion.
