The Indiana Wrestling season begins on Nov. 5 with a trip to Charleston, South Carolina before the Hoosiers embark on what will be a difficult Big Ten slate.

While Indiana avoids No.2-ranked Iowa in Big Ten action, they travel to No.1-ranked Penn State and No. 15-ranked Ohio State, host No. 9 Michigan and, of course, face rival No. 19-ranked Purdue in Bloomington. 

Indiana will also compete at the Sheridan Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa., which is streaming live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app. 

The Hoosier begin the season ranked No. 25- in the FloWrestling preseason rankings.

Indiana will have help from Brayton Lee, the Minnesota transfer who finished sixth at the 2021 NCAA Championships at 157-pounds. He clocks in as the No. 24-ranked wrestler in his weight class. 

Graham Rooks also returns for IU as the No.6-ranked wrestler at 149-pounds. Derek Gilcher (No. 18 at 165-pounds) and Donnell Washington (No. 11 at 174) are also preseason-ranked wrestlers.

When Is the 2024 Big Ten Wrestling Tournament? 

The Big Ten Wrestling Tournament is March 9-10 at the XFINITY Center in College Park, Md. 

Last year’s Big Ten Tournament was at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 

This is the first time Maryland has hosted the tournament. 

When is the 2024 NCAA Wrestling Tournament?

The NCAA Wrestling Championships are March 21- 23 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.
