At 125 lbs, Oklahoma State's #20 Troy Spratley started the Cowboys off on the right foot with a 7-2 victory over #15 Jakob Camacho. Three-time NCAA finalist Daton Fix followed that up with an 11-3 major decision over #5 Kai Orine.

At 141 lbs, NC State got on the board with Ryan Jack's 6-4 decision over #7 Tagen Jamison. #4 Jackson Arrington tied the team score after four weights with a 10-0 major decision over #21 Jordan Williams at 149 lbs.
One of Oklahoma State's most critical results came at 157 lbs where #24 Teague Travis topped #5 Ed Scott 7-6. #3 Izzak Olejnik added to his undefeated season after Travis' upset with an 8-3 decision over AJ Kovaks. After 165 lbs, the dual meet score was 10-7 in favor of Oklahoma State.

The Cowboys didn't slow down at 174 lbs or 184 lbs. True freshman Brayden Thompson earned an overtime victory over Alex Faison, and Dustin Plott notched a 13-8 decision over NC State freshman Dylan Fishback.
NC State got 5 team points from #2 Trent Hidlay with a technical fall over Jersey Robb, but those would be the Wolfpack's final points of the dual. At heavyweight, Konnor Doucet landed a 2-1 decision to give Oklahoma State the 22-12 dual meet victory.
