Iowa head coach Tom Brands addressed the media Tuesday afternoon ahead of a dual against Nebraska on Friday. 

The first question asked is whether Iowa has any wrestlers joining the roster second semester to which Brands responds, "We do not... at this time." There has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not AJ and Anthony Ferrari will be joining the Hawkeyes this upcoming semester. Ferrari made his return to the mat at the Soldier Salute tournament on December 30th with Hawkeye Wrestling Club coach Dan Dennis in his corner. However, after defeating Hawkeye Zach Glazier in the finals, he was disqualified for an on-mat confrontation. Ferrari would later say he was disappointed in his actions.

Last night Ferrari went on the Clash of Combat podcast to discuss his future. He said he was not committed to a school, currently in Iowa training, and was able to take an Olympic redshirt if he chooses.
