First Period: After an uneventful first two minutes of the match, Noah Surtin goes BIG with a mixer and puts Ungar on his back. Ungar fought hard, but Surtin ultimately adjusted for the fall to give the Tigers a 6 point dual meet lead.

133 lbs - #2 Vito Arujau, Cornell dec #24 Kade Moore, Missouri 10-9
First Period: Last Year's NCAA champ is back! 30 seconds into the bout, Moore looked for a big move from short offense and nearly put Vito to his back. Vito defended but looks shook up. He decided not to call injury time but rolled out his shoulder on his way back to the center. Vito shoots a single at 1:45, but Moore defends. Vito takes blood time at the 1:26 mark. He's talking things over with the trainer and coaching staff. Off the restart, Moore defends a Vito shot with a nearside cradle, but Vito scrambles to a reversal! It's 6-2 for Moore. Now he escapes to make it 7-2 at the end of the first.
Second Period: Vito chooses bottom and escapes immediately to make it 7-3. He's in a hole with a little over 3 minutes to go. After a flurry of attacks, Moore gets hit for stalling. It's still 7-3 at the end of the period.
Third Period: Moore goes underneath and escapes quickly. Vito drags to a double and scores. He cuts Moore quickly and hits another double. Just like that, Vito leads 9-9 with 1:20 to go! The crowd pops as Vito's riding time goes over a minute! Vito rides for the 10-9 come from behind victory!

141 lbs - #10 Vince Cornella, Cornell dec #21 Josh Edmond, Missouri 9-6
First Period: Cornella hits a slick throw-by for a a takedown a minute in. Edmond escapes in 6 seconds to make it 3-1 for Cornell's 141-pounder. Cornella gets in on a head-outside shot. Edmond locks through the crotch to defend, but only for so long as Cornella grinds out a finish to make it 6-1. His riding time moves over 30 seconds with about 30 left in the period. He gets the rideout, and now has one minute heading into the second.
Second Period: Edmond chooses bottom and gets out quickly. Riding time is at 1:12 on the screen. It's 6-2. Edmond stuffs a Cornella duck under attempt but can't score. Edmond looks for a knee-pick from an underhook, but it doesn't go.
Third Period: Cornella chooses bottom and escapes to make it 7-2. Riding time is at exactly 1:00. Edmond Goes back to that underhook, knee-pick and this time runs through Cornella for his first takedown of the match. He trails 7-5. He cuts Cornella to make it 8-5. Edmond drops in on a shot as Cornella signals for injury time. Riding time is at 53 seconds, so it will be interesting to see whether Edmond elects to go on bottom or just work from his feet. He goes bottom, and escapes, but not before Cornella regains his riding time advantage. It's 8-6 with 20 seconds to go! Edmond gets to a high crotch, but Cornella defends. Edmond gets behind on the edge, but Cornella pulls the action out of bounds with 3 seconds left. Missouri is challenging. The no-takedown call is upheld. Cornella guts out the last 3 seconds and wins 9-6 with the riding time point.

149 lbs - Ethan Fernandez, Cornell dec Zeke Seltzer, Missouri 4-0
First Period: The first minute lacks attacks from either wrestler. It's hand-fight city over here. Fernandez hits a double in the center of the mat and takes the action all the way to the edge. Seltzer fights it off, and we're still scoreless after 2 minutes. Fernandez drops in on a single with 30 seconds to go, but Seltzer defends. we're scoreless headed to the second.
Second Period: Fernandez chooses bottom and escapes in 3 seconds to take a 1-0 lead. He hits a single as time expires in the period but can't finish.
Third Period: Seltzer chooses bottom in the third. He'll need to find a point here. Seltzer trails, but it's Fernandez who continues to push the action. He shots again but can't score. Seltzer takes one of his first shots with a minute left but can't finish. Fernandez winds up on a single off a Seltzer snap with 18 seconds left. He fights hard for the finish on the edge with 5 seconds to go. He takes the 4-0 victory to give Cornell its first lead of the dual.

157 lbs - #14 Meyer Shapiro, Cornell maj dec #5 Brock Mauller, Missouri 14-4
First Period: Shapiro hits a single at the 2:40 mark and earns the takedown after a 20 second scramble. Mauller gets out immediately, and it's 3-1. Shapiro looks for a nasty slide-by but can't get it with 1:30 to go. He tries a throw-by with a minute to go and coverts to make it 6-1. Mauller gets out again, and it's 6-2.
Second Period: Mauller starts the second on bottom. Shapiro earns two cautions before the period has even started. Mauller gets his third escape of the match to make it 6-3, but Shapiro drops in on a shot immediately. He finishes on the edge to extend his lead to 9-3. Now Shapiro's committing to the ride. As riding time goes over a minute, Shapiro earns a stall call on a dropdown 5-count. Mauller escapes on the restart to make it 9-4 with 50 seconds left. Shapiro hits a drag one way then ducks to the other side for a filthy highlight-reel takedown! He's up 12-4 with over a minute of riding time as we head to the third period.
Third Period: From bottom, Shapiro escapes to extend his lead to 13-4. Riding time is 1:23. They handfight for the rest of the period, and Shapiro wins 14-4 over the #5 ranked wrestler in America.
Missouri 6, Cornell 13
165 lbs - #1 Keegan O'Toole maj dec #4 Julian Ramirez, Cornell 13-5
First Period: O'Toole fires a couple shots in the first 30 seconds but can't get past the head-hands defense of Ramirez. Still no score half way through the period. Ramirez dives in on a shot but gets extended, and it ends in a stalemate. The first period concludes without a point.
Second Period: Ramirez starts on bottom. He fights hard for an escape in about 15 seconds and takes a 1-0 lead. O'Toole puts a couple attacks together but can't convert. Ramirez hits a beautiful duck under and gets O'Toole's hand down. O'Toole escapes, and it's 4-1! Keegan gets in deep on a single and finishes! It's 4-4 in a wild second period! O'Toole gets hit for stalling on the drop down rule as time expires.
Third Period: O'Toole chooses bottom and escapes in 5 seconds for a 5-4 lead. O'Toole is back on Ramirez's leg. After a long scramble, O'Toole steps over the leg and earns the takedown and an 8-4 lead. He gets two swipes, and now it's 10-4. Ramirez escapes, and it's 10-5. O'Toole finishes a low single, and it's 13-5! He caps off a major decision in a match that he trailed 4-0!

174 lbs - #6 Peyton Mocco, Missouri dec Evan Canoyer 8-2
First Period: After limited action in the first half of the period, Canoyer hits a single on the edge, but the action is stalemated. Still no score. Canoyer is back in on a leg, but Mocco neutralizes the attack with a whizzer. Canoyer is holding his elbow as he heads back to the center.
Second Period: Mocco chooses bottom and escapes in 11 seconds.
Third Period: Canoyer chooses neutral in the third. He attacks with 1:15 to go, but Mocco reattacks. After a flurry, Mocco gets in deep and finishes to make it 5-0 with 1:03 left. Mocco cuts Canoyer to make it 5-1. Canoyer now ends up on the leg near the edge. He's looking to finish. They go out of bounds. Mocco hits a quick takedown to go up 8-2. He cuts Canoyer loose and looks for another takedown. He can't get it, but he wins the match 8-2.

184 lbs - #8 Chris Foca, Cornell maj dec #10 Clayton Whiting, Missouri 14-1
First Period: Whiting hits a straight on double on the edge. As they go out of bounds, Foca whips him to his back, but the action was off the mat. No score one minute in. Whiting looks high crotch, but Foca stalemates it. Foca gets to a high crotch, but Whiting uses an underhook to neutralize the attack. Whiting is bleeding, so the stop the match with 35 seconds to go. No score in the first.
Second Period: Foca's on bottom and gets out right away to make it 1-0. He gets in deep on a shot, doubles off, and finishes for a 4-0 lead. Foca's going to work on top and has riding time past a minute as he gets 4 swipes on a roll through tilt. He's up 8-0 with 30 seconds to go.
Third Period: Whiting chooses neutral. Foca hits a slick throw-by to make it 11-0! He's hunting for an assassin. Foca cuts Whiting and nearly gets another takedown on the edge, but Whiting stalemates it. Another stall call against Whiting adds to Foca's lead. They're back on their feet with 24 seconds to go. Foca presses for the takedown but can't get it. With riding time, he takes a 14-1 major decision.
Missouri 13, Cornell 17
197 lbs - #9 Jacob Cardenas, Cornell dec #6 Rocky Elam, Missouri 4-0
First Period: No score half way through the first. Not much action, either. Elam is bleeding, so they stop the match with 48 seconds left. They're back to wrestling. No score after the first.
Second Period: Cardenas starts on bottom. He nearly escapes, but the officials say Elam still had just enough control as they went out of bounds 14 seconds into the period. Cornell is challenging. The call is upheld. Cardenas gets out quickly on the restart to take a 1-0 lead. Cardenas hits a nice double with 45 seconds to go. He takes a 4-0 lead, and the Cornell crowd is fired up. He puts together a solid ride to finish the period on top.
Third Period: Elam needs more blood time before the start of the third. He chooses neutral. More blood time. They're back to action. Cardenas looks for another double with 45 seconds left. He doesn't score, but he does take 25 seconds off the clock. Cardenas secures the 4-0 victory to ice the dual for Cornell!

285 lbs - #6 Zach Elam, Missouri dec #20 Lewis Fernandes, Cornell 2-1
First Period: The first period was full of hand fighting, and that's about it. We're scoreless headed into the second.
Second Period: Elam starts on bottom. He got to his feet but couldn't escape in the first 30 seconds of the period. He's back to his feet. Fernandes looks to return, and Elam gets a reversal in the process to take a 2-0 lead. He completes the rideout and now has 34 seconds of riding time.
Third Period: Fernandes takes top. He gets his leg in off the whistle. There's a restart, but Fernandes gets his leg in again. Elam is hit for stalling with about 50 seconds left in the match. Fernandes gets his leg back in on the restart, and he's looking for a fall. Riding time is now over a minute. He gets the rideout and a point for riding time but falls 2-1.
