Upsets ruled the day in Piscataway when Ohio State wrestling traveled east to Rutgers for Sunday's Big Ten dual. Each team pulled off multiple improbable victories for a total of five on-paper upsets between them in tOSU's 22-12 victory over the Scarlet Knights.

The dual started at 157 lbs and went to script for the first four matches as higher ranked Wilcox, Hepner, and Welsh of Ohio state and Soldano of Rutgers all notched victories, but chaos ensued from there.

At 197 lbs, Buckeye freshman Luke Geog took out Rutgers All-American #12 John Poznanski. The victory was Geog's first over an NCAA All-American in his college career.

#13 Nick Feldman and #21 Brendan "Middle School" McCrone kept the upset train rolling for Ohio State as Feldman used a third period takedown to beat Harvard transfer #7 Yaraslau Slavikouski 4-2 and McCrone topped #16 Dean Peterson 7-1.

At 149 lbs, Rutgers closed the dual with perhaps the biggest upset of the day when unranked 11-6 redshirt sophomore Michael Cetta knocked off #7 All-American Dylan D'Emilio. The Scarlet Knight redshirt sophomore earned two takedowns in the first and finished the period with a 6-2 lead. D'Emilio battled back and sent the bout to overtime tied at 9. Cetta secured a sudden victory takedown to secure the upset and conclude one of the wildest duals of the weekend.
