#21 Brody Teske Upsets #10 Nic Bouzakis In Big Ten's Round 1
Brody Teske overcame his first challenge at the Big Ten Wrestling Championships after receiving the #14 seed in the 133lb bracket.
Iowa's Brody Teske overcame his first challenge at the Big Ten Wrestling Championships after receiving the #14 seed in the 133lb bracket. The #21 ranked Teske defeated #10 Nic Bouzakis in the round of 16 at 133-pounds in a come-from-behind victory thanks to some clutch near fall late in the third period.

As a late addition to the Hawkeye starting lineup, Big Ten regulations mandated that he received the #14 seed, which set him up with a first-round match with the #3 seed, Nic Bouzakis of Ohio State
That news did phase the senior Hawkeye. Said Teske last Tuesday about the brackets:

Teske's next opponent in the quarterfinals will be Purdue's unranked Dustin Norris. A win there and Teske will automatically qualify for the NCAAs.
