Fargo & Ironman Champ Vince Bouzakis Commits To Ohio State Wrestling
Fargo and Ironman champ Vince Bouzakis, one of the top recruits in the class of 2025, has committed to the Ohio State Wrestling program.
Vince Bouzakis, the #15 ranked recruit in the class of 2025, has committed to Ohio State. The Wyoming Seminary junior will join his brother Nic in Columbus following his final high school season next year. Bouzakis committed to the Buckeyes with an Instagram post.
Bouzakis has been a staple in the national high school rankings throughout his career but has found consistent home toward the top of his weight class this year. After winning Fargo last summer, Bouzakis took home titles at Ironman, Powerade, and National Preps. He's currently ranked #2 at 157 lbs and projects as a 157 or 165-pounder for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has put together strong recruiting classes for the last several years, but Bouzakis is their first commit in the class of 2025. Their 2024 class is currently ranked #4, their 2023 class was ranked #6, and their 2022 class was ranked #1. Vince Bouzakis' brother Nic was the #4 ranked recruit in his class and a key piece of their #1 ranked class in 2022. He was an NCAA qualifier this season at 133 lbs.
