Last Week In Recruiting: April 15-21
Your weekly recruiting round-up.
The biggest high school news last week came on Wednesday when Ohio State picked up two major recruits in Maddox Shaw and Vince Bouzakis. Shaw is a Super 32 champion and Bouzakis is a Fargo and Ironman champion. Both Bouzakis and Shaw will bolster the Buckeyes' firepower in the middle weights. Shaw could enter the lineup at 149 lbs while Bouzakis might land at 157 lbs or 165 lbs.
The two huge names to enter the transfer portal were 4X All-American Kyle Parco and 2024 national qualifier Cooper Flynn. Parco has been at ASU since his original program, Fresno State, dropped wrestling in 2021. Freshman Kaleb Larkin, who just competed at the Olympic Trials, will likely be the 149 starter next year for the Sun Devils.
