Participants must be 23 or younger so this tournament had a college vibe with a light high school presence. Several participants recently completed their college eligibility but made the 23 and under age requirement.
This was an opportunity for NAIA and NCAA programs to face off in the same national tournament weeks after their college national championships held separately on the same weekend.
