Top prospect Bo Bassett, an unconventional talent in the sport of wrestling, is likewise handling his recruiting process in an unconventional manner. 

When the Johnstown, Pennsylvania native released his first school list, it had 80 programs, rather than a more conventional number of say, five or even ten. 

Bassett, a 2021 U17 gold medalist and 2024 U20 world team member at 65kg, has consistently said that he wants to keep his options open during the process and give every school interested in recruiting him as much consideration as possible.

September 4 Update

Bo rounds another corner to get closer to his ultimate goal as he shaves off another three schools from his list, bringing his total down to 20 schools.
