Top prospect Bo Bassett, an unconventional talent in the sport of wrestling, is likewise handling his recruiting process in an unconventional manner. 

When the Johnstown, Pennsylvania native released his first school list, it had 80 programs, rather than a more conventional number of say, five or even ten. 

Bassett, a 2021 U17 gold medalist and 2024 U20 world team member at 65kg, has consistently said that he wants to keep his options open during the process and give every school interested in recruiting him as much consideration as possible.

As Bassett narrows his school list, we'll keep track of the programs that come off the board. Follow the updates here.

November 6 Update

It's been close to a month since the last one but Bo Bassett has once again updated his school list. The lone cut this time was Princeton, leaving the following schools still in the mix.

Bo stayed busy since the last update, winning a title at the prestigious Super 32 tournament. In the finals he bested Daniel Zepeda for the second time this fall. 

Bassett also took a couple of high profile recruiting visits, taking a trip to both Iowa City and State College.

October 9 Update

In the second recruiting update since avenging his 2023 Who's Number One loss, Bo once again eliminated one program from his school list. Bassett is now considering 15 schools.

October 2 Update

We enter Spooky Season with another Bo Bassett recruiting update. The latest school list pruning comes off the heels of Bo's Who's Number One victory over Daniel Zepeda.

The Lehigh Mountain Hawks were the lone program to be removed from consideration in week 16 of the process, bringing the total number of programs on Bo's list down to 16.

Another week brings a slightly smaller school list for uber-recruit Bo Bassett, as one more program is eliminated in week 15 of this endeavor.
