Joye Levendusky Hired As Southern Oregon Interim Head Coach
Five-time All-American Joye Levendusky was announced as interim head coach at Southern Oregon on June 28.
Five-time All-American Joye Levendusky has been named interim head women’s coach at Southern Oregon, as announced by the university on June 28. She takes over for Gabby Weyhrich who led the Raiders to first- and third-place finishes at the NAIA Championships in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
Levendusky, 24, is a 2023 US Open champion and Final X participant. She is a five-time All-American in three divisions and two schools.
Her career began at McKendree, a Division II program that won NCWWC (NCAA) titles from 2020-22. She transferred to Southern Oregon and was key to the team’s 2023 championship.
The Avon, New York, product transitions from her role as an assistant. A national search for a permanent coach will be conducted at the end of the season.
