2X California State Champ Ronnie Ramirez Headed To Oklahoma State
Two-Time California state champ Ronnie Ramirez is headed to the Oklahoma State Wrestling program to join David Taylor.
Ronnie Ramirez, a two-time California state champ and the #28 ranked recruit in the class of 2025, decided last week to join David Taylor and the Oklahoma State wrestling program. He announced his decision on Instagram.
Ramirez is now part of a strong, growing recruiting class that includes #3 LaDarion Lockett, #17 Kody Routledge, and #19 Landon Robideau. Routledge and Robideau flipped their original commitments from Nebraska and Minnesota respectively.
In addition to his state titles, Ramirez also won Doc B and Reno this season and finished 3rd at Super 32. He was 5-2 at the U20 US Open with a victory over PIAA and National Prep champ Nate Desmond who beat him in the Super 32 quarterfinals this fall.
Ramirez is currently ranked #5 at 120 lbs and will likely spend his career at 125 lbs or 133 lbs for the Cowboys.
