Clarissa Chun may have landed her biggest recruit.

Macey Kilty, 23, announced on Instagram that she will attend the University of Iowa in the fall. Kilty is a 2023 Senior World silver medalist at 65 kg and a two-time Olympic Trials finalist at 62 kg with loads of international experience.

The Stratford, Wisconsin, native has won five age-level World medals, including 2018 Cadet gold. This will be her first college season after training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and various locations after high school.

"I'm truly thankful for all the places I've been able to train up until this point," Kilty said in her post. "I've gotten to learn, meet and train along side some of the greatest people this sport has to offer. With that being said I'm excited to embark on this new opportunity ahead. I'd like to announce I'm officially committed to wrestle and finish my academics at the University of Iowa!"

Iowa concluded its inaugural season with a 16-0 dual record and the team title at the 2024 National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships. The Hawkeyes return four national champions and 10 All-Americans from last season.

Kilty will likely compete at 138 or 145 based on her international weight of 65 kg (143 pounds). Iowa's Reese Larramendy is the returning national champion at 143 and will compete at 145 this season when the weights change.

A maximum of 15 wrestlers from each school can compete at the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships, allowing deep teams to send multiple wrestlers to nationals at five weights.

The 2025 National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships will be held at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, on March 7-8.

Watch Kilty reach the 2023 World Championship finals.
