Former College And Olympic Wrestlers Transitioning To WWE Superstars
Former wrestling stars Peyton Prussin and Tamyra Mensah-Stock have transitioned to careers in WWE under new ring names.
Peyton Prussin and Tamyra Mensah-Stock are familiar names to anyone who follows women's freestyle wrestling.
Prussin was a three-time NAIA champion (2021-23) for Life University and a 2023 finalist for USA Wrestling's Women's College Wrestler of the Year. The Las Vegas native was one of the top high school wrestlers in the country, placing three times at Fargo with a 2018 finals appearance in the junior division.
Mensah-Stock won five World/Olympic medals, including gold at the 2020 Olympics and World titles in 2019 and 2022. The Katy, Texas, product won WCWA titles for Wayland Baptist in 2014 and 2017 and was a 2010 Fargo finalist.
Today, they are WWE Superstars with ring names.
Peyton Prussin is Kendal Grey.
Tamyra Mensah-Stock is Tyra Mae Steele.
Both have appeared on Level Up, part of WWE's NXT brand.
