Round of 16 - 10-2 win over Buse Cavusoglu Tosun, TUR

Elor's first-round matchup was against the top seeded, 2023 World Champion Tosun out of Türkiye. Elor controlled the match from start to finish taking a 5-0 lead in the second period. Elor continued her domination using her control ties to force Tosun on the activity clock to earn another point. Elor gave up a late takedown but also earned two takedowns of her own to win her first bout, 10-2.

Quarterfinal - 8-0 win over Wiktoria Choluj, POL

Elor's quarterfinal win over Choluj was similar to her opening-round match. Elor controlled from start to finish using her two-on-one and underhook to pressure Choluj into stepouts and taking bad shots.

Semifinals - 10-0 win over Sol Gum Pak, PRK

Elor earned a quick takedown and transitioned right to 4 turns with a leg lace. That's it - Elor moves on to the finals!

Finals - 3-0 win over Meerim Zhumanazarova, KGZ

Like all of her other matches, Elor controlled the bout from the start by using her two-on-one, front headlock, and underhook. That pressure forced Zhmanazarova on the activity clock just over a minute into the bout. While on the clock, Zhumanazarova took an errant shot that Elor countered and ran behind for a takedown. As Elor got the takedown, the shot clock ran out giving Elor another point to take a 3-0 lead into the break.

The second period was similar to the first with Elor controlling ties and pushing Zhumanazarova all over the mat. Elor held incredible position not allowing Zhumanazarova to get anywhere near her legs. Zhumanazarova attempted a few desperation throws but all were defended by Elor and she did - Elor wins 3-0 and becomes America's youngest ever Olympic champion!
