The action inside Champ-de-Mars Arena in Paris at the 2024 Olympics has begun as the world’s best wrestlers compete from Aug. 5-11. 

The first days of the competition includes Greco Roman matches and women’s freestyle matches as wrestlers work their way through their respective weight class brackets. 

The goal is to win gold and one of the most watched brackets for wrestling’s first days in the Olympics is the women’s 50 KG freestyle tournament.

The bracket includes Sarah Hildebrandt of Team USA. The weight class was already thrown for a loop when Vinesh Phogat upset Japan’s Yui Susaki.
