AJ Ferrari Commits To California State Bakersfield
2021 NCAA champion AJ Ferrari is going to be a roadrunner.
2021 NCAA champion AJ Ferrari announced his commitment to California State Bakersfield Friday morning via social media.
Ferrari was a 2021 NCAA champion at 197 lbs while attending Oklahoma State University as a true freshman. Ferrari then started the next season 10-0 before being involved in a serious car accident that left him injured. In July of 2022, Ferrari was dismissed from the Cowboy wrestling team.
CSU Bakersfield has produced seven D1 national champions since moving from DII in 1980. Stephen Neal was the most recent in 1999.
AJ's younger brother Angelo will be a freshman at Iowa this season.
