Team USA Finishes Third Behind Champion Japan & Runner-Up India
The women's squad for Team USA won a total of four medals at U20 Worlds to take home a third-place team finish from Spain. Cristelle Rodriguez and Jasmine Robinson were the two gold medalists while Alexis Janiak won silver and Naomi Simon won bronze. Team USA was notably trailing China by three points heading into the final match of the tournament when Jasmine Robinson pinned her opponent from China to win gold and clinch the podium finish for the US.
Japan continued to show it's dominance in women's freestyle by winning 6 total medals (3 golds, 1 silver, and 2 bronze) and finishing with a 19-point lead over second-place India.

*Russia and Belarus are not in the official team rankings because they are competing as “Individual Neutral Athletes.” However, we chose to include them in the above standings to show how those countries are performing at U17 Worlds.
