The No. 3 Valdosta State football team is set to go on the road against North Greenville for a GSC conference matchup. The Blazers will strive to keep up their momentum as they remain away from home for a second straight week.

Quarterback Sammy Edwards has spearheaded the Blazers offensive attack, having thrown for 13 passing touchdowns so far this season, including five in VSU's 73-0 victory against Erskine. 

Running back Blake Hester also has been heavily involved in the offense as well, bringing in five rushing touchdowns on the season.

North Greenville defeated Benedict College last but will have a much larger challenge with the No. 3-ranked Division II team coming to Younts Stadium in Tigerville, SC.

After this game, NGU will face three more ranked opponents in their last five games.
