Michigan Wrestling Schedule 2024-2025: Season Preview

Michigan is getting prepared to open up its season in the Clarion Open. See what the full schedule for the Wolverines looks like ahead of 2024-2025.

The Clarion Open will be the beginning of the Michigan wrestling team's season on Nov. 3. After that they will compete in the Michigan State on Nov. 9 before kicking off non-conference matches.

Michigan will begin the season ranked No. 9 in the FloWrestling preseason rankings after a 3rd place finish at last year's NCAAs.

After finishing third in the team tournament, the Wolverines will have two returning All-Americans in Dylan Ragusin (No. 4 at 133) and Jacob Cardenas (No. 2 at 197). They also have three other ranked wrestlers in Sergio Lemley (No. 7 at 141), Chase Saldate (No. 17 at 157), and Jaden Bullock (No. 16 at 184).

Their first dual within the conference will come from Maryland on Jan. 10. Michigan will also have matches against No. 1 Penn State, No. 3 Nebraska, and No. 5 Ohio State before the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments.
