High Schooler Makennah Craft Wins Missouri Valley Open
Makennah Craft won the 103-pound title at the Missouri Valley Open, while two other high schoolers reached the finals.
Makennah Craft's stock increased after dominating the 103-pound bracket at the Missouri Valley Open. The Minford, Ohio, native is ranked #5 at 100 pounds in the national girls' high school rankings.
Craft secured four techs and two falls, including a 10-0 win over Iowa's #3 ranked Rianne Murphy in the finals, to take the crown.
And she wasn't the only high schooler to reach the finals.
Sierra Chiesa, ranked #7 at 125, finished second at 124 pounds.
Bella Williams, ranked #1 at 140, finished second at 131 pounds.
