No. 4-ranked Ohio State Wrestling enters the quarterfinals of the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational in that exact same spot, fourth, trailing Oklahoma State, Nebraska and Iowa State in the team race after the first two rounds on Dec. 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  

Brendan McCrone reached the quarterfinals in the 15 pound weight class. He joined Nic Bouzakis (133), Jesse Mendez (141), Paddy Gallagher (157), Sammy Sasso (165), Seth Shumate (184) and Nick Feldman (285) in the quarters.

The fourth-ranked Buckeyes were ahead of rival Michigan in the team race by four points entering the quarters. Of the seven quarterfinalist, Mendez, Gallagher and Feldman advanced to the semifinals. 

The championship semifinals begin at 1 p.m. ET on Dec. 7 and the championship finals are 6 p.m. ET. later that day.
