FloWrestling Night In America Offering Two Nights Of Action This Week

Tune in for a special three-dual, two-day triple-header on “FloWrestling Night In America.” 

On Wednesday, December 11, Union County (Kentucky) faces Vandalia High School at 4:30 p.m. CT. We'll also see a college dual between Southern Virginia and Shenandoah at 6 p.m. CT.

On Thursday, December 12, the action moves to Oklahoma where Ponca City faces Edmond North at 7 p.m. CT for in-state bragging rights.

Southern Virginia (0-2) and Shenandoah (1-3) face off for in-state bragging rights between two NCAA Division III programs. 

Union County’s Jayden Raney is ranked second nationally and is fresh off an Ironman finals appearance where he took top-ranked Jax Forrest into sudden victory. Raney will lead the 15-time Kentucky state champion Braves as they take on Vandalia, one of the top 1A teams in Illinois. 

Vandalia's lineup includes 2024 state finalists Dillon Hinton (150 lbs) and Max Philpot (113 lbs) along with fourth place finisher Kaden Tidwell (190 lbs) and state qualifiers  Eli Mabry (132 lbs), Brody Matthews (138 lbs), Cole Yarbrough (144 lbs).

Union County's probable starters include returning state champions Jayden Raney (138 lbs) and Lucas Ricketts (175 lbs) along state finalist Hunter Jenkins (150 lbs) and placers Braxton Corbett (106 lbs) and Jeremy Ray (165 lbs). Other 2024 state qualifiers include Jaxson Mayberry (113 lbs), Jake Dowdy (157 lbs), and Austin Cummings (285 lbs)

Edmond North’s Kody Routledge won the 157-pound class at Ironman with two falls and three major decisions. He headlines the defending state champion Edmond North Huskies, the #14 ranked team in the country, Thursday night against Oklahoma power program Ponca City. The Huskies are coming off an 8th place finish at Ironman. In addition to Kody Routledge's title, they also saw a runner up finish from Joseph Jeter at 150 lbs and a 5th place showing from Turner Ross at 106 lbs.
