Over 50 Upsets In The First Week Of 2025
Over 50 Upsets In The First Week Of 2025
All the upsets between D1 NCAA wrestlers from week 10 of the 2024-25 season.
We usher in the new year with a new batch of upsets from the 10th week of the 2024-25 NCAA D1 wrestling season!
The usual caveats apply. Results that look like upsets today won't necessarily look like upsets by the end of the year or even next week. In particular, there were unranked wrestlers who 'upset' ranked wrestlers, however, the upsetters were freshmen on redshirt, like Penn State's frosh at the Southern Scuffle for example, and might have been ranked higher than the upsetee that they defeated if they were starting.
Potentially at least, not necessarily always. Anyway, just want to give everyone a heads up!
Below are all the upsets according to the rankings that we could find in last week's results, in order of largest margin of upset to smallest. Let us know if we missed any or messed up anywhere!
