All Access: Budapest Episode Two - Metcalf vs. Teghavi

Action is underway from the 2013 World Championships!

In episode one of All Access: Budapest, we chronicled the Flo crew's arrival into Hungary and their expedition through the nation's capital to (eventually) the World Championships training arena. More of a prelude than anything else, the episode introduces you to major players, like Zeke Jones, and also sets the tone for the most dramatic story of the tournament: Burroughs wrestling for his third straight world title, this time with broken ankle. Episode two, tomorrow's episode, is where the action really lies.

The cameras are once again rolling in the training arena, but this time, we didn't just capture the world's elite rolling around/warming up.  We captured drama, tension.  In one of my favorite sequences in the entire episode, cameras stalk Brent Metcalf as he goes into and comes out of weigh ins, which leads into a scene where Metcalf is set just feet away from his day 1 opponent, 2x World Champion Mehdi Teghavi (Iran).

And then comes the wrestling: matside footage of Escobedo, Bergman and Metcalf taking on their international opponents.  This unfolding of scenes is highlighted by Metcalf's actual match vs. Teghavi.  The setting is striking, and as Tom Brands cheers on a losing Brent Metcalf, a viewer can't help but to absorb the whirlwind of intense emotions present on the screen.
