West Virginia continued their win streak, earning victories at 157, 165, 174, and 184 to go ahead 22-5. Bryan Sternlieb picked up a decision at 197 to make the score 22-8, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit made by West Virginia.

Devoy Jr earned his second victory of the day with a 5-3 decision over Indiana’s Chris Caton and Matthew Cimato followed with a 13-8 decision at 141. Drexel finished out the day with a dual against Northern Colorado. The Bears struck first with a 4-0 decision at 125. Devoy Jr followed with his third win of the day, a major decision against Northern Colorado’s Sonny Espinoza to put the Dragons up 4-3. Pearce picked up a win at 141 and Blanco earned a 9-7 decision for his second win of the day to make the score 10-3. The Bears took the 157 and 165 matches to come within one of Drexel, 10-9. Kevin Matyas wrestled at 174 and picked up a 5-2 decision to give Drexel a 13-9 lead, but Northern Colorado’s Nick Bayer brought the Bears within one again with a winning decision at 184. Brandon Palik stepped in with a 4-2 decision at 197 to give the Dragons some extra padding with a 16-12 lead. Despite winning the 285 match, the Bears were unable to surpass the Dragons and Drexel walked away with a 16-15 victory.
