James Green twitter handle is @WhoIsJamesG. As of right now there are multiple correct answers to James’ inquiry: Undefeated, #1 ranked wrestler at 157 and the Brute Wrestler of the Week. Green won in dominant fashion over previously undefeated and returning NCAA champion Derek St. John.

It was a 9-7 win, but that doesn’t tell the story. It was all Green, all match long. James got to his attacks and finished. Hard. At a pivotal moment in the match Green fought off a deep DSJ attack to his own takedown.

Other Brute Wrestler of the Week Nominees:

Adam Coon: I know, it was not an easy decision. If you think Coon should have gotten it, who could argue? The kid just keeps winning. The undefeated True Freshman from Michigan notched the biggest win of his career when he defeated 2 time NCAA Champion Tony Nelson of Minnesota in Sudden Victory 2. Coon was aggressive, able to get to the legs on a few occasions and move Nelson around the mat. Additionally, his bottom work was very impressive for a True Freshman.

Mike Racciato: Keeping with the True Freshman theme, Mike notched the biggest win of his young, but promising career when he pinned Josh Kindig of Oklahoma State. Racciato is in the midst of a very solid season, where he’s taken some lumps, but always to quality competition.

Zeke Moisey: Beat Blair Academy's Matt Kolodzik for the second time this season to win the 126lb title at Escape the Rock.

Chaz Tucker: The Blair Junior won a monster bracket at Escape the Rock. To win the title, he beat #6-Scotty Parker and #7-Brent Fleetwood. #4-Ethan Lizak was also in the beacket.

Eric Grajales: Michigan’s 149 pounder won a big match for the Wolverines when he bested #2 Nick Dardanes of Minnesota. It was an early takedown and clutch riding that ensured the victory for Eric.

Robert Kokesh: It wasn’t an upset for Kokesh when he beat a familiar nemesis in Mike Evans, but check out this trend. I think it is indicative of a tremendous evolution in his development. Evans WBD Kokesh 7-3, Evans WTF Kokesh 17-2, Evans WBD Kokesh 9-6. Kokesh WBD Evans 3-2 and this weekend we had Kokesh WBD Evans 7-3. It was a good day for Nebraska, despite the dual defeat.
